I was more under the impression that he was being sarcastic and drawing an analogy about impressions based on experiences with Z1. Some people have had good experiences while others have had bad experiences, so just because you haven't personally had a bad experience yet, then they must be A-OK and no one should worry about it when considering whether or not to do business with them. I've been around long enough to see a lot of drama unfold around Z1, and I have had my own lackluster experiences with them in the past. I don't believe that they are bad people (although I believe that they have had some bad seeds from time to time), but their service tends to be inconsistent at best, and just from what I have seen of their conduct on this forum, I would personally have some reservations about doing business with them. I am certain that they deal with a lot of jackasses, and possibly have had more than their fair share of unreasonable customers, but I am also certain that some of their problems are caused by their own actions. Basically, dealing with them seems to be a bit more of a gamble than I would care for--actually, this seems to be a problem with many automotive vendors these days, not just Z1--and I prefer to make only safe bets when possible.
